WAVERLY, Iowa – Despite a late fourth-quarter push from the Knights, women's basketball fell to Coe College 61-50 in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) tournament championship inside Levick Arena on Saturday, Feb. 28.

- First Quarter
- Coe opened the game with a three pointer, but the Knights responded with back-to-back scores in the paint from Corrie Harrison
- A Grace Hennessy layup put the Knights in front 6-3, but Coe was able to tie the game at 6-6 with just over six minutes left in the first quarter
- Wartburg jumped back in front 11-6 after two free throws from Katelyn Aden and a three pointer from Emma Townsley
- Following a made Coe jumper, Hennessy knocked down a three pointer to lead Wartburg to an 8-3 run to close the first quarter in front 19-12

- The Kohawks came out of the quarter break on a 14-2 run over a three-minute span that put Coe in front 26-21

- Trailing by seven, Harrison drove to the hoop and made a physical layup with the foul to cut the Coe lead to 28-24 with 2:48 left in the half
- Hennessy was able to cut into Coe's halftime lead to 32-27 after Townsley found her on the wing for three

- Third Quarter
- Wartburg began the second half with a great offensive set as Boulanger scored in the paint with an assist from Harrison to cut the lead to 32-29
- Coe made a three pointer at the 7:38 mark and then neither team scored until four minutes left in the quarter when Lauren Golinghorst made a layup to make the score 35-31
- Laynee Hogan and Boulanger combined for three points at the free throw line to cut Coe's lead to 40-34 headed to the final quarter
- Fourth Quarter
- Despite an early three pointer from Golinghorst, Coe outscored the Knights 7-3 to stretch the lead to 47-47 after three minutes of play into the fourth
- The Knights refused to go away as they put together a 7-0 run over the next three minutes to make the score 47-44 with 3:56 left to play
- Townsley, Harrison and Boulanger each scored during the run
- Coe made two three pointers over its next three possessions to retake control with a 53-44 lead in the final minutes
- The Knights traded baskets with Coe in the final minutes, but Coe was able to seal the game at the free throw line for a 61-50 win
- Harrison and Golinghorst combined for the final six Wartburg points
