The Wartburg College men's wrestling team (13-1 overall, 6-0 A-R-C) returns to Levick Arena on Friday, Feb. 6, hosting American Rivers Conference foe Coe College (8-4 overall, 4-2 A-R-C) for its annual Takedown MITO night. First bout is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Prior to the dual, the Knights will honor their 2026 senior class in a pre-match recognition ceremony.

LAST TIME OUT
The Knights brought the Swens-Milboy trophy belt back to Waverly with a dominant 21-9 dual win over No. 3/3 Augsburg in the Battle of the Burgs last Friday night at the Si Melby Hall in Minneapolis, Minn.

The Knights won seven out of the ten bouts, limiting the Auggies to their lowest team total in a Battle of the Burgs dual since Jan. 27, 2022 (24-8). Wartburg moves to 18-11 all-time in the signature duals and 26-19 against Augsburg overall – snapping a three-match losing skid in the rivalry. 
 
NATIONAL STATUS
The Knights remained the nation's top tournament team at No. 1 and at No. 2 in the latest dual team rankings (NWCA). Wartburg resides ranked wrestlers in all ten weight classes. Three wrestlers moved up in the individual rankings: Patrick Mullen, Kade Blume, and Cal Dorota following an impressive stretch.
