MANHEIM, Penn. -- The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced its inaugural NCAA Women's Regional Wrestlers of the Year and Regional Rookies of the Year, recognizing the top performers across each region for the 2025-26 season.

Gable Hemann (Osage, Iowa/Osage) was named the Region 5 Rookie of the Year following an All-American campaign at 117 pounds.
Hemann earned All-American honors with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships, compiling a 27-10 overall record in her debut season. The Osage, Iowa native placed third at the Region 5 Championships in Indianola before recording three consecutive pins in the consolation bracket at the national tournament in Coralville. She led the team with 13 falls and added 11 technical falls on the year.
Hemann becomes the first student-athlete in program history to earn NCAA Women's Regional Rookie of the Year honors.

The NWCA will announce its NCAA Women's National Wrestler of the Year and National Rookie of the Year next week.
