CLEVELAND, Ohio – Wartburg College Athletics earned its 22nd all-time top-25 finish in the final Learfield Directors' Cup standings, which were announced this afternoon.
The Knights accumulated 698.75 points to place No. 17 among all NCAA Division III institutions, making Wartburg the only member of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) to finish inside the top 25.
In the final Division III standings, a total of 18 sports are counted. Four of those sports must include men's and women's soccer and men's and women's basketball, while the remaining 14 highest-scoring sports are selected regardless of gender.
The Learfield Directors' Cup was established through a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Institutions earn points based on their finishes in NCAA championship competition, recognizing broad-based excellence across an athletics department.
