NORMAN, Okla. -- Wartburg College men's golfers
Sam Jermier and
Duke Taylor have been named 2025-26 NCAA Division III Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced.
The honor marks the third consecutive season that the Knights have had at least one student-athlete earn GCAA All-America Scholar recognition and the 10th time in program history. Jermier and Taylor become the 12th and 13th recipients of the award in Wartburg men's golf history, respectively.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
261 NCAA Division III athletes from 95 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors. Calvin had the most recipients from one school in NCAA Division III with six.
29 NCAA Division III schools had at least four recipients. 10 NCAA Division III schools had at least five recipients, including Bowdoin (5), Calvin (6), Carleton (5), Carthage (5), DePauw (5), Emory (5), Illinois Wesleyan (5), Kenyon (5), Otterbein (5), and Trinity (TX) (5).
