WAVERLY, Iowa — Wartburg College Men's Golf won the Wartburg Shootout to open the season, posting a 287 (-1) at Prairie Links Golf Course. The Knights had three golfers shoot under par, as Duke Taylor led the Knights individually in second place with a 70 (-2), while Vaughn Tyler and Brandon Hartbarger tied for third at 71 (-1).

The Knights won the Wartburg Shootout with a 287 (-1) Round at Prairie Links Golf Course, while Wartburg (B) finished fifth at 301 (+13). Coe was second at 292 (+4) in the six-team stroke-play event.

Taylor led the Knights individually with a second-place finish at 70 (-2). Tyler and Hartbarger tied for third with 71's (-1), and Andrew Kimball, Drew Conrad, Wesley Hubbard and Blake Irvine each tied for sixth at even-par 72.
