Cross Country Sweeps John Kurtt Invite in Season Opener

WAVERLY, Iowa — Wartburg College placed first in both races at the John Kurtt Invite on Saturday, Sept. 5, scoring 30 points in the women's 4k and 15 points in the men's 5k.

Ethan Boston finished first in the men's 5k with a time of 15:39.5 and a score of 1. Drew Moser placed second in 15:39.6, while Derek Coulter took third in 15:53.3. Sydney Bochmann finished fourth in the women's 4k in 15:06.6 with a score of 4. Seven total women placed in the top 10 for Wartburg, while the men's team had the first 12 overall finishers.
