Wartburg College Athletics

General Information:
Wartburg Campus is located at 100 Wartburg Blvd in Waverly Iowa. The Wartburg-Waverly Wellness Center (The W) is located at 400 12th St NW in Waverly, Iowa.
The Max Championship Cross Country Course is located on the NW corner of campus. The course hosted the 2010 NCAA III National Championships as well as several NCAA III Region Championships.

Spectator Information: 
There are NO entry or parking fees for the meet.
No DOGS or other PETS are allowed at the meet, including anywhere on the cross country course or inside the Rec Center. Leave all pets at home or in your vehicle.
(Exceptions will be made only for trained service animal required for assisting individuals with disabilities.)

 11 a.m.                                            MANDATORY Virtual Coaches’ Meeting. Information will be sent by Nov 1.
 
Friday, Nov. 14
Noon – 6 p.m.                                 Course inspection/practice.
Noon – 6 p.m.                                  Packet pickup. On the course. 
 
Saturday, Nov. 15
9 a.m.                                               Course opens.
9:40 a.m.                                           Clerking begins at the clerks table on the south side of the starting area.
MEN: Clerking time period is from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m.
WOMEN: may begin clerking is from 9:40 to 11:40 a.m. 
10:30 a.m.                                        First gun fired (30 minutes to start of men’s race)        
10:35 a.m.                                        National Anthem.
10:40 a.m.                                        Second gun fired (20 minutes to start).
                                                            Men’s competitors must report to assigned boxes.
                                                            Clerking process is completed for men’s race. 
                                                            Women’s clerking remains open until 11:40 a.m.
10:50 a.m.                                        Third gun fired (10 minutes to start).
11 a.m.                                              Men’s 8,000-meter championship race.
11:30 a.m.                                        First gun fired (30 minutes to start of women’s race). 
11:40 a.m.                                        Second gun fired (20 minutes to start).
                                                            Women’s competitors must report to assigned boxes.
                                                            Clerking process is completed for women’s race.           
11:50 a.m.                                        Third gun fired (10 minutes to start).            
12 p.m.                                              Women’s 6,000-meter championship race.
