Seth Roberson

Seth Roberson was named an assistant track & field coach at Wartburg in the summer of 2019. He coached Emma True, the 2025 hammer throw National Champion.

Roberson comes to Wartburg from Grand View University, where he has been an assistant coach since 2005. During his time as the throws coach, he has mentored six NAIA National Champions which includes 40 All-Americans. Grand View has won 79 individual conference championships and earned 249 All-Conference honors. The Vikings have won 27 conference titles and have amassed 82 All-American honors during his time with the program.  

Roberson was named the 2018 USTFCCCA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year and has earned four HEART Conference Assistant Coach of the Year honors.

Prior to Grand View, he spent one year as the assistant coach (throws) and strength and conditioning coach at Wartburg College. The Knights won three Iowa Conference championships, and the women's team was the National Runner-Up at the Indoor National Championships, and won the first Outdoor National Championship in program history.

Roberson is USA Track and Field and Weightlifting Level I certified, a current member of the NAIA Track & Field Standards Committee, and is a former NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

The New Hampton, Iowa native graduated from Wartburg in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education and physics. He was a four-year member of the football and track and field teams. Roberson was a two-time Academic All-Conference and two-time CoSIDA First-team Academic All-District honoree. He was named a CoSIDA First-team Academic All-American in 2001.
