Blake Meyer joined the Wartburg wrestling coaching staff upon graduation from Wartburg in 2019. He compiled a 43-29 career record for the Knights and was a three-time Academic All-Conference student-athlete, including a 2016 NWCAÂ Scholar All-American honor. During his time in Orange & Black, Meyer and the Knights won three national championships, a pair of NWCA National Dual titles, and four-straight conference championships.Â
A native of Sumner, Iowa, Meyer was a 2015 state champion for Sumner-Fredericksburg High School. He was also a 2013 state qualifier and fourth place finisher in 2014.Â
