Brady Kyner

Brady Kyner enters his third season at the helm of the women's wrestling program in 2025-26.

Kyner (pronounced k-EYE-ner), a 2022 Wartburg graduate, was a five-year member of the men's wrestling program and earned National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-American honors in 2021 (runner-up) and NCAA All-American honors in 2022 (fifth-place).

He was a member of two NCAA Championship teams in 2018 and 2022, and the NWCA National Dual Champions in 2020. The 2021 NWCA National Championship did not award team points, and the 2020 and 2021 NCAA Championships were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kyner qualified for the United States Freestyle World Team Trials at 57kg in 2021.

Kyner also succeeded in the classroom where he was recognized four times as a NWCA Scholar All-American and named to Wartburg's Dean's List for two years.

Women's wrestling was recognized as an emerging sport by the NCAA in 2020 and became a sanctioned high school sport in Iowa in 2022.
