Destival joined the staff as a catching coach ahead of the 2024 season after spending the 2023 season as a gradutate assistant at Upper Iowa University.

Destival's current dutites for the Knights include: 
  • Catching coach 
  • Assistant hitting Coach
  • Handles the design of uniforms and gear 
  • Liaison with Synergy sports and AWRE camera systems 
  • Film and video Coordinator 
  • Assists in opposing pitcher scouting reports
