Tara Winter began coaching cheerleading at Wartburg in the spring of 2004. She started her coaching career in 2001 at Simpson College.
A 2001 Wartburg graduate, she was a business major and cheered four seasons for the Knights.
Tara also serves as the Executive Director of Admissions at Wartburg and coordinates the game day experience for football games. She and her husband, Chris, Head Football Coach for the college, reside in Waverly with their daughter, Emmry, and son, Maddox.Â
