Trio Inducted to Wahlert High School Hall of Fame

Dubuque Wahlert Hall of Fame Inductees: (Treanor) Pins, Rogers, Kellyrtburg alumni
DUBUQUE, Iowa-- A trio of past Wartburg College student-athletes were recently inducted into the Dubuque Wahlert High School Hall of Fame.

Wil Kelly (Wartburg Class of 2010), Tiffany (Treanor) Pins (2005) and Ashley Rogers (2008) were inducted as members of the Class of 2012.

Kelly, was a four-time high school state and three-time State Champion in wrestling (1993-119lbs, 1994-130lbs, 1995-135lbs and also went undefeated all three years) who finished his career at Wahlert with a record of 120-3.

As a Knight, he was a three-time All-American and placed as high as third twice at the NCAA Championships.

He helped coach multiple national champions at Wartburg College as assistant coach and is currently the heead coach at Cedar Falls High School, where he has coached state champions.

Pins was a four-year member of the Golden Eagle's women's soccer team that won two State Championships (1999 and 2000). She scored 102 goals in four years and earned First-team All-State honors in 1999 and was named First-team All-Conference (MVC)  from 1996–2000. She was also a three-year starter on the basketball team.

She played two years at UW-Green Bay (NCAA Division I) before transferring to Wartburg.

As a Knight, she still holds the record for most goals in a season as well as the most points in a season and career. She earned All-Conference honors in 2004 and was a three-time team MVP. After graduation, she served as an assistant coach for Wartburg before being an assistant at Denison University from 2007-10. She returned to Wartburg as the head women's soccer coach in January 2011.

Rogers amassed a total of 13 varsity letters in four sports (softball, basketball, volleyball and tennis.) She was an All-State selection in both softball and volleyball and led the state in hitting in softball for the 2004 season.

Rogers played on four state champion volleyball teams and helped lead the basketball team to the state semifinals.

As a Knight, she was an All-Conference selection in both volleyball and softball all four years. She was inducted into the IGHSAU Softball Hall of Fame in 2011. Rogers is in her third season as the head softball coach at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
