CEDAR RAPIDS—Wartburg women’s tennis team fell 8-1 to Iowa Conference opponent, Coe, Saturday morning.

Junior Jenny Dallenbach (Decorah) earned the Knights’ lone point with her win at No. 3 singles.

Senior Lindsay Greiner (Boone) was defeated 6-0 and 6-1 at the No. 1 spot and junior Claire Evans (Alde) fell 6-0 and 6-0 at No. 2.

Senior Leanna Jenkins (Muscatine) dropped her match at No. 4 6-4 and 6-1 and sophomore Jessica Behrer (Urbandale) was defeated 6-2 and 6-1.

Brita Jensen (Richfield, Minn.) rounded out the singles competitors as she fell 6-0 and 6-2 at the No. 6 position.

In doubles play, Dallenbach and Greiner fell 8-2 at the No. 1 position.

Jenkins and Evans fell 8-4 at No. 2 and Michelle McKenzie and Jensen lost 8-6 at No. 3.

The Knights play St. Ambrose later today.
