WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (20-8 overall) enters this weekend's tournament fresh off a dominating three-set win over William Penn Monday.

A Look at the Field:
The
Knights are currently led by junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) who leads the team in kills with 332, (3.19 a set). There are six other Knights who are over the 100 kill mark this season. Freshman Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines), sophomore Kelly Neimann (Fredricksburg), senior Kamille Van Natta (Readlyn), junior Monique Davisson (Cedar Rapids) and sophomorse Ramey Sieck (Fayette) and Maddie Forsyth (Charles City). They have 190, 175, 167, 160, 143, and 117 kills respectively.
R. Sieck continues to lead the team in set assists with 807 and is followed by classmate Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) who has 255 on the year. Marissa is leading the team in digs with 322 followed closely by senior, Nicole Beer (Boone) and Van Natta who have 285 and 266, respectively.
The Orange and Black will be face three teams this weekend at UW-Whitewater’s tournament. They will play tenth-ranked
Carthage (23-5), Friday at 7 p.m.
The Lady Reds are led by senior, Michelle Madeja who has 336 kills on the season. Carthage also have four other players with over 100 kills. Drewann Pancratz leads the team in set assists with 897. Six players have over 100 digs on the season. They are led by Izzy Shandlin and Lauren Dembkowski with 419 and 349 digs, respectively.
Saturday the Knights have two games. The first game will be at noon against
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (16-12). The Titans have four players who have surpassed the 100 kill mark this season. They are led by Morgan Nick who has 293 kills and Jordyn Bratel who has 252 kills. Morgan Liebetrau leads the squad with 829 assists on the season. Robyn Eggert and Sarah Petermann lead the team in digs with 461 and 321 respectively.
In the final match of the weekend, Wartburg will face host-No. 22
University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (19-6) at 2 p.m. The Warhawks enter this weekend with their return to the Top 25 poll. They are led by Sofia Sanchez, (277 kills) and Leanna Lillge (208 kills). Heidi Buss leads the team in set assists with 780 this season and in digs by Kelli Trautmann in digs (433).
