Knights Travel to Face Coe, Host Blugolds

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The ninth-ranked Wartburg women’s soccer team (12-1-2 overall, 5-0-1 IIAC) travel to face Iowa Conference opponent, Coe (4-9-2 overall, 1-5-0 IIAC), Saturday at 1 p.m. before hosting non-conference opponent, UW-Eau Claire (9-4-2) Sunday at 2 p.m.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:

The Knights are led by five players who have double digit points this season including: senior forward, Chelsea Frye (Waverly) who has 22 points, (11 goals), senior forward, Katy Wendt (Bettendorf) who has 20 points, (seven goals and six assists), sophomore forward, Anna Aquino (Bettendorf) who has 16 points, (four goals and eight assists), junior forward, Kelli Anderson (Cary, Ill) who has 12 points, (six goals), and sophomore forward, Rachel Torrey (Urbandale) who has 12 points as well, (four goals and four assists). Junior goalkeeper Monica Noti (Carol Stream, Ill.) has six shutouts.

Coe:
The Kohawks are led by Jenny Snook who has six points on the season, Lisa Frank who also has six points on the season and Sydney Screw who has four points this season.Goalkeeper Jillian Reynolds has 5 shutouts on the season.

UW-Eau Claire:
The Blugolds are led by 16 points from Paige LeGate. Rachel Nerison and Brittany Burant round out the players in double digits, with 13 and 10 points, respectively. Nina Behrenbrinker also has six shutout wins in the net.

UW-Eau Claire will host UW-LaCrosse Saturday before travelling to Waverly.
