WHITEWATER, Wis.-- The Wartburg volleyball team (20-9 overall) fell in four sets to tenth-ranked Carthage Friday night.

The Knights took the first set 27-25, but the LadyRed took the next three 25-22, 25-18 and 25-23.

Three players tallied double-digit kills and were led by 13 from junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette). Classmate Monique Davisson (Cedar Rapids) finished with 11 and sophomore Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg) had 10.

Classmate Ramey Sieck (Fayette) recorded a double-double with her 43 set assists and 21 digs. Two players also finished with double digit digs as classmate Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) had 18 and senior Kamille VanNatta (Readlyn) had 10.

The Orange and Black face UW-Oshkosh and host-UW-Whitewater Saturday.
