WHITEWATER, Wis.-- The Wartburg volleyball team (21-10 overall) split its final two matches at the UW-Whitewater Invitational Saturday.
The Knights swept UW-Oshkosh (
25-22, 25-16, 25-16) but fell 3-2 to host-UW-Whitewater (
25-21, 26-24, 23-25, 16-25, 15-10).

Against UW-Whitewater, junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) led the team with her 14 kills. Classmate Monique Davisson (Cedar Rapids) narrowly missed double-digits with her nine kills and sophomore Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg) had eight kills.
Sophomore Ramey Sieck (Fayette) tallied a double-double with her 41 set assists and 11 digs.
The Orange and Black outblocked the Warriors (15-6).
Wartburg returns to its home court Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. when it hosts Iowa Conference opponent, Central, in the annual Dig Pink and Senior Night.
