WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg volleyball team (16-5 overall, 4-1 IIAC) travels to face Iowa Conference opponent, Dubuque (11-10, 1-2) Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and will play in UW-Platteville’s tournament this weekend.

Wartburg: Five players have eclipsed the century mark in kills and are led by a team-high 253 from junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette). Senior Kamille VanNatta (Readlyn), freshman Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines), sophomore Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg) and sophomore Ramey Sieck (Fayette) have also accomplished this with 145, 144, 119 and 112, respectively. Junior Monique Davisson (Cedar Rapids) has nearly accomplished this with her 99 kills to date.
R. Sieck has a team-high 553 assists and 25 service aces. Senior Nicole Beer (Boone) has a team-best 250 digs
R. Sieck currently ranks seventh on the program's list of career assist leaders with 1,329. She needs 105 assists to move into the No. 6 spot. B. Sieck holds the No. 8 spot in career kill leader (1,194) and needs 13 kills to move into seventh-best all-time.
Dubuque: Lauren McKissick leads the Spartans with her 271 kills and Carly Green joins her in triple digits with 182. Lindsay Ellinor had 405 set assists and leads the team with her 23 service aces.
UW-Platteville Tournament field:
The Knights will play Cornell, Carthage, Augustana (Ill.) and Elmhurst.
Cornell (14-3): These teams previously played each other in Mount Vernon on Sept. 28 with Wartburg sweeping the IIAC match. Kathleen O’Connor leads the team with her 206 kills. Taylor Dicus and Samantha Pedersen follow in triple digits with 167 and 121, respectively. O’Connor also leads the team in service aces with 32 and Sabrina Hargis has 432 assists running the Rams’ offense.
#7 Carthage: The Lady Reds bring an 11-match winning streak into this weekend’s tournament. Michelle Madeja leads the team with her 217 kills and Lauren Dembkowski and Cindy Cavanagh follow with 175 and 132, respectively. Dembkowski has a team-best 15 service aces and Drewann Pancratz has 589 set assists.
Augustana (7-9): Brianna Skeens and Emily Leazer lead the team with 174 and 142 kills, respectively. Kelsey Mikula has 523 set assists and Leazer leads the squad at the service line with 18 aces.
Elmhurst (13-4): These programs have also previously played each other this season at the Gargoyle Classic on Sept. 24 where Elmhurst took the match 3-1. Four players have eclipsed 100 kills on the year as Megan Reynolds has 187, Antoney Veasy Smith has 125, Kaitlyn Wilks has tallied 111 and Sam Szarmach has 103. Erin Thill has 452 set assists and a team-best 24 service aces.
