PLATTEVILLE, Wis.-- The volleyball team (18-8 overall) split its matches in the final day of the UW-Platteville Invite.
The Knights swept Augustana (25-28, 25-8, 25-20) but fell to Elmhurst (25-16, 25-22, 14-25, 25-23).
Junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) was named to the All-Tournament team. This marked the fourth-straigth tournament she had received this honor.
Against the Vikings, sophomore Kelly Niemann (Fredericksburg) led the team with eight kills and B. Sieck followed with seven. Sophomore Ramey Sieck (Fayette) had 23 set assists and classmate Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) had 13 digs.
Against the BlueJays, Niemann once again led the team with her 12 kills. B. Sieck and classmate Monique Davisson (Cedar Rapids) each tallied 10 kills. R. Sieck had a double-double with her 32 set assists and 13 digs.
The Orange and Black return to action Wednesday when they host Simpson at 7:30 p.m.
