WAVERLY, Iowa—Sophomore Eddie Diemer (Cedar Falls) recorded a career-high 22 points in Wartburg’s 64-52 win over non-conference opponent, ColoradoCollege, Saturday night. He also finished with his second double-double of the year as he had a team-best 10 rebounds.

With the win, the Knights move to 5-5 on the year and the Tigers fall to 3-4. The Orange and Black also snapped Colorado College’s three-game winning streak.

Senior Jordan Sathoff (Packwood) joined Diemer in double figures with his 19 points on the game.

Wartburg was ahead 28-19 at halftime and were ahead by as many as 18 in the second frame. The Knights maintained a double-digit margin for the last 12 minutes of play.

The Orange and Black’s defense also held the Tigers to a percentage of .308 from the field and only .273 from three-point range.

Wartburg returns to action Friday on the road against Martin Luther at 7 p.m.
