RIVER FALLS, Wis.—Wartburg remains undefeated on the year (3-0 overall) with its 7-2 win over UW-River Falls Saturday.
In doubles play, Lindsay Greiner (Boone) and Jennifer Dallenbach (Decorah) fell 8-5 at the No. 1 spot. Leanna Jenkins (Muscatine) and Claire Evans (Alden) combined for the 8-4 win at No. 2 and Michelle MacKenzie (Waverly) and Brita Jensen (Richfield, Minn.) won 8-3 at No. 3.
In singles play, Griener fell 6-1 and 6-0 at the top spot while Evans won 6-2 and 6-0 at the No. 2 spot. Dallenbach won 6-3 and 6-0 (No. 3) and Jenkins won 6-1 and 6-1 (No. 4).
Jessica Behrer (Urbandale) won 6-1 and 6-2 (No. 5) and Jensen won 6-3 and 6-2 (No. 5).
The Knights return to action tomorrow when they host Luther at 9 a.m. and UW-LaCrosse at 3 p.m.
