DUBUQUE, Iowa—The 24th- ranked Wartburg College volleyball team moved to 3-0 in Iowa Conference play as it swept Loras 25-17, 25-14 and 25-20 Friday night. With the win, the Knights move to 9-2 on the year.
Junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) and senior Kamille VanNatta (Readlyn) co-led the team with eight kills each.
VanNatta also had a team-high 14 digs on the match.
Sophomores Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) and Ramey Sieck (Fayette) tallied 20 an 18 set assists, respectively.
The Orange and Black held the team advantages in kills (38-27), hitting percentage (.194-.058), digs (43-47) and team blocks (6-2).
Wartburg returns to action on its home court Tuesday when it hosts Coe at 7:30 p.m.
