WAVERLY, Iowa-- The ninth-ranked Wartburg (7-0-1 overall 1-0-0 IIAC) women's soccer team hosts Iowa Conference opponent, Luther (4-5-0, 1-0-0) Friday at 6 p.m. and third-ranked non-conference opponent, Wheaton (9-0-0), Saturday at 3 p.m.
A Look at Wartburg:
Entering this weekend, senior Chelsea Frye (Waverly) leads the team with her fourteen points (seven goals) and Kelli Anderson (Carry, Ill.) and Rachel Torry (Urbandale) each have 10 points to date.
A Look at Luther:
Kendra Ledel also has a team-best seven goals for fourteen points. Cydney Haaland has a save percentage of .714 in her 764 minutes in the net.
A Look at Wheaton:
Entering this weekend, Jaime Orewiler and Keri Shannon co-lead the team with five goals and four assists for 14 points. Sarah Guidera and Ali Kopelman are the other two players in double-digit points at 11 and 10, respectively. Hilary Barreto has a .950 save percentage in her 502 minutes in the net.
