WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg College volleyball team (4-0 overall) travels to Luther (2-2) Wednesday to open the Iowa Conference portion of its schedule.  Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) leads the team with her 57 kills and junior Monique Davisson (Cedar Rapids) has a team-high .381 hitting percentage.

Sophomores Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) and Ramey Sieck (Fayette) have 84 and 74 set assists, respectively to date.

The Knights defeated all opponents at the Pacific Coast Classic in Claremont, Calif. last weekend. The Norse lost to Nebraska Wesleyan and UW-LaCrosse and beat Finlandia and host-St. Mary’s University last weekend at the Sugar Loaf Classic.

Luther is led by Hannah Walker with 47 kills and Sophia Brown has a team-best .394 hitting percentage. Amanda Dietel has tallied 148 set assists to date running the offense.

Britlyn Sieck needs 21 kills to surpass the 1,000 career mark.
Coach Walker is 13 victories shy of the 300 mark for her time at the helm of Wartburg’s program and 10 shy for her entire career.
