DUBUQUE, Iowa- The Wartburg men’s basketball team (8-8 overall, 2-5 IIAC) snapped a three-game skid with its 73-66 win over Iowa Conference opponent, Loras, (4-11, 1-5) Saturday afternoon.
 
Two Knights tallied double-digits on the day as senior Jordan Sathoff (Packwood) led all scorers with 28 points and sophomore Mitchell Murphy (Cresco) recorded a career-high 19 points.
 
Sathoff also finished a perfect 10-10 at the charity stripe and narrowly missed a double-double with his nine rebounds.
 
The Orange and Black were ahead 37-29 and even though the Duhawks outscored them by one point in the second frame, it wasn’t enough to overcome the early lead.
 
The Duhawks had three players finish in double-digits as Jordan Harrelson had 14 points, Taylor Baxter had 12 and Dan Pawelski had 11.
 
Wartburg returns to action Monday at 8 p.m. against Cornell.
