WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg College men's basketball team (8-11 overall, 2-8 IIAC) hosts Iowa Conference opponent, Luther (15-3, 9-1), Saturday at 4 p.m.

The 1986-87 men’s basketball team that advanced to the Elite Eight will be recognized at halftime.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:
Senior Jordan Sathoff (Packwood) leads his squad with 19.8 PPG and 7.4 rebounds per game. He has also moved into the No. 4 spot on the program’s career-leader list with 1,414 points to date and needs 37 points to take third, which is currently held by assistant coach Jason Steege.

Sophomore Mitchell Murphy (Cresco) averages 4.10 assists per game and matched his career-high with nine against
Buena Vista on Wednesday.

Luther:
The Norse took the 61-55 win in the first meeting of the season on Nov. 30.

Dane Larson and John Androus lead their squad with 14.3 and 10.7 PPG. Androus has a team-best 7.1 rebounds per game and Tyler Wedemeier is close behind with his average of 7.0 rebounds per game.
