WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 15 Wartburg volleyball team moved to 21-4 on the season and remained undefeated in Iowa Conference play at 5-0 with its 3-0 sweep over Luther (9-11, 1-4) Wednesday night.
The Knights won 25-17, 25-19 and 25-20.
Senior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) and junior Maddie Forsyth (Charles City) co-led the team with 12 kills on the night. Sieck had a match-high hitting percentage of .550.
Junior Ramey Sieck (Fayette) recorded a double-double as she had 29 assists and 11 digs.
As a team, the Orange and Black held the advantages in kills (37-31), assists (36-29), digs (36-25) and service aces (7-0).
Wartburg's defense also held Luther to a .080 hitting percentage.
The Knights are off from competition this weekend and conclude their six-game homestand Tuesday against conference opponent, Dubuque, at 7:30 p.m. in the annual Senior Night.
