WAVERLY, Iowa-- Non-conference opponent, Augustana (12-3-0 overall) edged Wartburg (10-3-2) 4-2 Wednesday night.

Taylor Moesle gave the Vikings the early 1-0 lead with her successful penalty kick.

Junior Rachel Torry (Urbandale) tied the game with her fourth goal of the season at 13:56.

Kelly Farell connected on a pass from Moesle and sent her shot into the lower right corner of the net to help Augustana regain the lead.

This remained the score through halftime until an own goal at 70:13 evened the score at 2-2.

Ally Frickman scored the go-ahead goal for the VIkings just 16 seconds later and Farell netted her second goal of the night at 78:35.

The Knights return to the field Friday when they host Iowa Conference opponent, Central, at 7:30 p.m. The annual senior night festivities will begin prior to the game.
