DECORAH, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's soccer team (12-3-3 overall, 6-1-0 IIAC) defeated Iowa Conference opponent, Luther (7-9-1, 2-5-0) in shutout fashion, 3-0, Tuesday night.

Senior Cathy Reiter (Buckingham) started the scoring early with her 11th goal of the year just 3:50 into the game.

Junior Anna Aquino (Bettendorf) was credited with the assist and then scored the next goal at 56:25.

Reiter had the assist on Aquino's goal.

Junior Lauren Bauer (La Porte City) netted her fourth goal of the year at 72:48.

Senior Monica Noti (Carol Stream, Ill.) recorded her seventh shutout win of the season.

The Knights have solidified a spot in the Iowa Conference tournament and will wait to see how the seedings play out after tonight's contests.
