#11 Volleyball Travels to Face Coe in Conference Finale

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 11 Wartburg volleyball team (25-5 overall, 6-0 IIAC) travels to face Iowa Conference opponent, Coe (20-11, 6-0) Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The winner of this match will receive the top seed in the conference tournament, which opens next Tuesday.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:

Senior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) leads the team with 409 kills and an average of 3.90 kills/set.

Four teammates have surpassed the 200 kills mark for the season: juniors Maddie Forsyth (Charles City), 247; Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg), 242; Ramey Sieck (Fayette), 216; and sophomore Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines), 205.

Ramey has 1,018 set assists running the Knights' offense and junior Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) has 465 digs anchoring the squad's defense.

Sophomore Karly Bown (Lincoln, Neb.) leads the squad at the service line with 41 aces.

Coe:
Rachel Schaefer is the Kohawks' leading hitter with 344 kills and 3.55 kills/set average.

Rachel Bosworth has 244 kills, Megan Barron 231, Tiffany Frey 219 and Mackenzie Harbaugh has 129.

Schaefer also leads the team in service aces (39).

Against IIAC Competitors:
Against conference opponents, the Knights lead the IIAC in team hitting percentage (.271) and blocks/set (2.21).

Wilson holds the top spot in service aces (11).
