WAVERLY, Iowa-- This weekend’s eight-team invitational opens a six-game homestand for Wartburg (17-3 overall). The field features three Top 25 opponents in No. 7 St. Thomas, the host school which earned the No. 15 spot and No. 24 Carthage in the AVCA Top 25 poll for week five.

Three players have eclipsed the century mark in kills as Caitie Helle leads the team with 199. Amy Baumet and Nicole Ackatz join her with 188 and 150, respectively.
Cierra Nickel leads the team with her 25 service aces.
Carthage College (12-8):
Four players are in triple digit kills and are led by 214 from Angelica Walinski. Emily Heuermann has 192, Bria Hailey has 151 and Rachel Fields has recorded 112 to date.
Walinski also leads the team at the service line with her 49 aces.
Gustavus Adolphus (7-11):
Three players have eclipsed the century mark in kills and are paced by 184 by Becca Woodstra. Emily Phillips follows closely behind with 181 and Kelle Nett has 132.
Nett also leads the Golden Gusties with her 20 service aces.
Nebraska Wesleyan University (8-7):
Katelyn Welsh leads her team with 190 kills while Hannah Softley has 117, Karny Kuehl has 109 and Cicely Batie has 101.
Mackenzie Hite leads the Prairie Wolves at the service line with 14 aces.
Simpson College (5-14):
Five players have over 100 kills as Steph Keller leads the team with her 165 kills. Mackenzie McGraw has 140, Tabitha Blaser has 130, McKaylie Croghan has 124 and Lauren Martin has 104.
Kim Rogers leads the Storm with her 23 service aces.
St. Olaf College (7-11):
Five Oles have triple digit kills and are led by 184 by Melissa Burch. Ari Carlson has 141, Kelly Heissel has 139, Katie Wolfram has 136 and Maggie Prunty has 107.
Burch also leads the team with 26 service aces and Katie Wolfram follows closely with 23.
#7 St. Thomas University (19-1):
Kelly Foley leads the Tommies with her 223 kills. Paige Brimeyer, Jill Greenfield, Sara Atkinson and Nicole Potts join her in triple digits with 148, 147, 116 and 108 kills, respectively.
Greenfield also has a team-best 21 service aces.
#15 Wartburg College (17-3):
Senior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) has a team-high 279 kills. Four other players have also surpassed the century mark as juniors Maddie Forsyth (Charles City), Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg), Ramey Sieck (Fayette) and sophomore Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines), have recorded 164, 162, 160 and 142 kills, respectively.
Sophomore Karly Bown (Lincoln, Neb.) has a team-best 23 service aces and Wilson and Ramey Sieck follow closely with 20 and 19, respectively.
