WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg football team recorded its twentieth consecutive winning season with its 55-7 win over Loras Saturday.
The Knights ended the season 6-4 overal and 4-3 against Iowa Conference opponents.
Loras ended the season 2-8, 1-6.
Fittingly on senior day, Connor Dahlstrom (Eldridge) and Reese Thompson (Van Horne) each scored two rushing touchdowns.
Dahlstrom had a team-high 76 yards and Thompson had 43.
Senior Jordan Anderson (Dubuque) was the team's leading receiver with 21 yards on four catches and one touchdown.
Freshman Logan Schrader (Kildeer, Ill.) threw for 82 yards and was 8-14 with zero interceptions.
Newcomer Michael Bohlke (Manchester) made three field goals (27, 21 and 28 yards) on the day.
