WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's soccer team ended its season with an overall record of 12-5-3 as it narrowly fell 2-1 to California Lutheran (18-4) Saturday evening.

Cal Lutheran took the early 1-0 lead as Taylor Will connected on a pass from Bailey Marquez at 14:16.

Junior Anna Aquino (Bettendorf) would even the score with her shot into the top left corner of the net at 43:18.

Will scored the game-winning goal at 78:50.

Cal Lutheran will face #14 Concordia-Moorhead in the Second-round game Sunday at 5 p.m.
