A Look Back at Last Week
Loras:
The Duhawks fell 45-0 to Dubuque in the Key City Clash last Saturday. Individually, Nate Carrier finished with 106 yards on the ground with a long run of 19 yards—and was brought down by a ‘last defender' in secondary before heading to the goal line on other occasions. Dylan Jones was 11-for-23 for 127 yards. Nate Even caught five of those passes. Mike Canevello logged 14 tackles and added an interception (pictured) in the second quarter.

Wartburg:
The Knights set three new single-game school records in a 31-28 loss to Central last Saturday. With 405 passing yards, freshman Logan Schrader (Kildeer, Ill.) broke Dan Stiefel's program record of 389, set in in a 2010 game against Dubuque, and also set a new single-game best for the team.

In the third quarter, senior DJ Looft (Armstrong) caught an 85-yard pass from Shrader to set a new school record for longest pass play from scrimmage. The old record of 84 yards occurred twice: Don Smith from Mike Elijah against Buena Vista in 1993 and Chris Shannon from Brian Nelson against Loras in 1995.
