#17 Wartburg Hosts Loras

The No. 17 volleyball team (12-1 overall, 1-0 IIAC) hosts Iowa Conference opponent, Loras (4-6, 1-0) tonight at 7:30 p.m.

A Look at the Teams:
Loras:

Regan Riley and Kara Grant lead their team with 109 and 107 kills, respectively. Riley also has a team-best 11 service aces.

Shawn Rielly has recorded 313 set assists to date running the Duhawks’ offense.

Three players have surpassed the century mark in digs as Grant has 111, Micaela Mertens has 105 and Rielly has 104.

Wartburg:
Three players are in the triple digits in kills as senior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) has 191 and juniors Maddie Forsyth (Charles City) and Ramey Sieck have 112 and 105 on the year.

Ramey has 441 set assists on the season and co-leads the team with 15 service aces.

Sophomore Karly Bown (Lincoln, Neb.) also has 15 service aces and classmate Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) joins them in double digits with her 13.

Junior Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) has 204 digs to date and Ramey has 152.

The Knights also rank in the Top 100 of five NCAA National Statistical Rankings in Division III. The Orange and Black are fourth in kills/set (14.02), 16th in win-loss percentage (0.923), 21st in assists/set (12.23), 38th in blocks/set (2.2) and 40th in hitting percentage (0.231).

Individually, three players rank in the Top 100 as Britlyn ranks eighth in kills/set (4.34) and 16th in points/set (4.73). Ramey is 29th in assists/set (10.02) and junior Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg) is 46th in hitting percentage (0.357).
