DECORAH, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (17-8 overall, 5-0 IIAC) defeated Iowa Conference opponent, Luther (13-14, 2-3) 3-1 Tuesday night.

The Knights took the first two sets, 26-24, 25-18 before the Norse claimed the third set 25-15.

The Orange and Black won the fourth set 25-23, to seal the win.

Junior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) had a team-best 12 kills and seniors Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg) and Maddie Forsyth (Charles City) joined her in double digits with 10 each. Forsyth's kill total helped her surpass the 1,000 career mark.

Classmate Ramey Sieck (Fayette) had 35 assists running Wartburg's offense.
