Volleyball Travels to Face Dubuque

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (18-9 overall, 5-0 IIAC) travels to face Iowa Conference opponent, Dubuque (9-16, 1-4) tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Wartburg leads the all-time series 37-23, including the last eight straight meetings.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:

Senior Maddie Forsyth (Charles City) surpassed the 1,000 mark for career kills over the weekend and leads the team with 280 kills on the year.

Junior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) and seniors Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg) and Ramey Sieck (Fayette) join her in triple digits with 252, 238 and 167, respectively.

Sieck ranks second in career assists with 3905 as she has 850 running the team's offense.

Junior Karly Bown (Lincoln, Neb.) has a team-best 51 service aces and senior Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) has a team-high 351 digs.

Dubuque:
Klaudia Basierak leads the Spartans with 246 kills. Amy Tranel, Brianna Bautsch and Anna Runge join her in triple digits with 128, 112 and 110 kills, respectively.

Meggie Schmidt has 434 set assists.
