WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team moved to 15-8 on the season as it split its final two matches at its own Knights Classic Saturday.
The Orange and Black fell 3-1 to No. 6 Elmhurst, but defeated Concordia-Moorhead 3-1 in the finale.
For her effort on the weekend, senior Ramey Sieck (Fayette) was named to the All-Tournament team.
Against Elmhurst, freshman Claire Willenbring (Dyersville) had a career-high 13 kills. Senior Maddie Forsyth (Charles City) joined her in double digits with 10 kills.
In the match against Concordia, Forsyth broke her own career mark set Friday night, this time with 20 kills. Willenbring matched her career-best with 13 kills and junior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) also had 13.
The Knights return to the court Tuesday when they host Buena Vista at 7:30 p.m.
