WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's soccer team (5-7-1 overall) fell 3-1 to nonconference opponent, Macalester (6-3-1) Wednesday evening.

Sophomore Brittany Frush (La Porte City) scored her third goal of the year at 6:54 on a pass from junior Brinkly Werkman (Marion) to take the early 1-0 lead.

This remained the score through halftime until the Scots used a three-goal second half to take the game.

Bonnie Gale scored her first of two goals on the night at 59:59 to even the score at one all.

Lily Jilk scored at 77:00 and Gale netted her second goal of the game at 89:53.

The Knights return to action Saturday when they travel to face Central at 1 p.m.
