WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's basketball team (13-10 overall, 8-5 IIAC) travels to face Luther (17-7, 10-3) Saturday at 4 p.m.
Both teams have locked up spots in the conference tournament which opens next week.
Luther would be the No. 1 seed with a win OR a Buena Vista loss or No. 2 seed with a loss AND a Buena Vista win.
Wartburg would be the No. 3 seed with a win AND a Dubuque loss, No. 4 seed with a loss AND a Coe loss or No. 5 seed with a loss AND a Coe win.
The Series:
Wartburg holds the lead in the all-time series 69-26. Luther claimed the first meeting of the year on Jan. 23.

Wartburg:
Senior Mitchell Murphy (Cresco) is the team's leading scorer with 11.5 PPG.
Junior Eddie Diemer (Cedar Falls) joins him in double figures with 10.9 PPG. He is the team's leading rebounder (6.1 RPG).
Luther:
Tyler Wedemeier leads his squad with 16.9 PPG and nearly averages a double-double with 9.5 rebounds per game.
Zach Matos joins him in double-digits with 11.2 PPG.
