MINNEAPOLIS-- Augsburg College (3-3 overall) swept Wartburg (1-3) Saturday in the final games of the Augsburg Dome Tournament.

The Auggies won the first game 7-3, and the second game 8-1.

In the first game, the Knights took the 2-0 lead in the third as Katie Wyman hit a two-run single to center field.

Augsburg cut the margin to one (2-1) in the bottom of the inning and plated four on five hits in the fourth.

The Orange and Black plated their third run in the fifth and the Auggies scored their final two runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Wyman led the team at the plate as she went 2-4 with an RBI.

In the final game of the day, Augsburg plated three runs in its first at-bats while Wartburg scored one in the bottom of the frame. 

The Auggies scored three runs in the second and two in the third to seal the win.

Samantha Wartburton was the leading hitter in this game as she went 2-3 with an RBI.

Wartburg returns to the field on Monday as it opens its annual Spring Break trip.
