WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 15 Coe softball team swept Wartburg Saturday in its annual Strike Out Cancer Day.

The Kohawks took the early 3-0 lead in the second inning and plated three more in the fourth.

The Knights broke up the no-hitter in the bottom of the fourth on a leadoff single by sophomore Tori Herzberg (San Tan Valley, Ariz.).

Coe plated its final run of the game in the fifth.

In the final game, the Kohawks tallied one run in the first, two in the second, one in the third, four in the fourth and two in the fifth.

The Orange and Black halted the no-hitter in the fourth on a single from sophomore Katie Wyman (Springville).

Wartburg returns to the field next Saturday when its hosts Central in a twinbill at 2 p.m.
