DUBUQUE, Iowa-- Wartburg fell 4-0 and 7-0 to Iowa Conference opponent, Dubuque, Wednesday.

The Spartans took the early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first.

Dubuque added one run in the second and the fifth.

Kayla Nielsen broke up the no-hitter with her single in the third inning.

In the second game, the Spartans again took the early 1-0 lead in the first. They plated one in the third, four in the fifth and one in the sixth to complete their scoring.

Stacey Kayser tallied the lone hit for the Knights with her single in the first.

Wartburg returns to the field Saturday when they travel to play Simpson at 2 p.m.
