INDIANOLA, Iowa-- Iowa Conference opponent, Simpson, took both games of the twinbill Saturday, 8-0 in six innings and 4-0 in the nightcap.

Senior Stacey Kayser (Jesup) tallied the first hit of the game with her single to centerfield in her first trip to the plate.

The Storm took the early 2-0 lead in its first at-bats and plated four more in the second.

Simpson won the first game with two runs in the sixth inning.

In the final game, the Storm scored one run in the first, second, fourth and sixth innings.

Sophomore Jess Brunko (Independence) broke up the no-hitter with her single to third base in the third inning.

The Knights return to the field Tuesday when they travel to face Cornell College.
