WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis.-- The Wartburg volleyball team moved to 12-6 on the year and moved its winning streak to eight as it went 4-0 at the IIAC/NACC Crossover this weekend.

The Knights opened the season with a 3-1 win over Edgewood Friday and then swept their next three opponents, Benedictine, Dominican and Lakeland.

Senior Maddie Forsyth (Charles City) led the team with 39 kills on the weekend while classmate Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg) and junior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) followed with 35.

Wilson led the team with six service aces and senior Ramey Sieck (Fayette) had 121 set assists.

The Orange and Black return to action Wednesday when they host Simpson at 7:30 p.m. in the annual Dig Pink night.
