WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg women's soccer team (1-1-1 overall) fell 4-1 to nonconference opponent, Saint Benedict (2-0-1) Saturday.

The Blazers took the 3-0 lead with 2:22 left in the first half before junior Brinkly Werkman (Marion) put the Knights on the board with her goal at 1:29 remaining.

Shannon Stewart (Waverly) was credited with the assist.

Saint Ben's netted is final goal with 38:42 to play in the game.

The Orange and Black return to action tomorrow when they travel to face St. Thomas at 3 p.m.
