WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg moved to 19-7 on the year and 3-2 in Iowa Conference play with its 3-0 win over Dubuque (11-16, 2-3) Tuesday.

Senior Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines) and sophomore Claire Willenbring (Dyersville) each led the team with seven kills and junior Kayln Ertz (Mediapolis) followed with six.

Freshman Maria Brown (Peosta) had 20 set assists and junior Emma Harmeyer (West Des Moines) had 15 assists as they co-ran the offense.

Senior Karly Bown (Lincoln, Neb.) had a team-best four service aces from the line while Brown and Harmeyer each had three. The Knights had 12 service aces as a team.

The Orange and Black held the team advantages in kills (39-31), hitting percentage (.314 vs. .143), digs (57-50) and blocks (5-3).
