The game was very close and competitive and neither team was able to score in regulation.

In overtime Dubuque would score the golden goal in the 93
rd minute as freshman Kyleigh McLaughlin (East Moline, Ill) was able to sneak a shot past Wartburg's freshman goalkeeper Beth Crow (North Liberty).

The Knights outshot the Spartans 15-9 but couldn't find the back of the net. The Knights also had more corners then the Spartans 8-3.

The Orange and Black will be back in action next Saturday as they travel to Dubuque to face Loras at 5 p.m. in an IIAC matchup.
